The GIIN in the FCI Collaboratorium

The GIIN is the lead partner in the project entitled 'Cohorts to increase the impact measurement and management (IMM) skill set of faith-based investors.'

Impact measurement and management includes identifying and considering the positive and negative effects one’s business actions have on people and the planet, and then figuring out ways to mitigate the negative and maximize the positive in alignment with one’s goals. Impact measurement & management is iterative by nature.

In 2017, GIIN published the first edition of The State of Impact Measurement and Management Practice'. The introduction posited that 'Impact investors, inspired to solve global challenges through investments, wield capital as a force for transformative change. Core to their work is thus the commitment to understanding and improving impact.'

The IMM project within the FCI Consortium is designed to develop and built a core skillset for investors who wish to work towards this transformation.
